Basic X-ray Technician:

Program Description:
This program allows medical professionals to add their Basic X-ray certification to their existing credentials thereby making the student even more marketable in the medical field. The 600 hour program is divided into 432 hours of classroom and 168 hours externship. The classroom part of the training consists of theory and general training in performing basic x-rays. Upon completion of the 600 clock hour Basic X-Ray Operator Technician program, the graduate receives a diploma and is eligible to take the State of Florida's Basic X-Ray Machine Operators Licensure examination.


Lincoln Technical Institute offers hands-on training in our X-ray laboratory where students learn to perform basic X-rays, positioning techniques and film processing.
